So I know that Peppermint is themed for Christmas, but I wanted to try and use it for a different holiday or occasion. I have the I Love You dies (coming soon!) and thought I'd try to make a non-traditional color for maybe a winter anniversary or even for Valentine's Day.

The background patterned paper is from the new Peppermint Patterned Collection and the pink and green cardstock die pieces are from the corresponding Smooth Cardstock pack. I also used the Hearts Pattern layered stencils with Distress Oxides to match the colors of the pack to create my heart background.
What do you think? Does it feel like a winter "love" card? Or is still too Christmas-y? I think it looks cute, especially with the white fox from the Spring Animals stamp set but definitely a different color combo for an I Love You card!
