I'm finally getting started on making my "Octobers" scrapbook with my 9x12 Black Velvet Scrapbook from Scrapbook.com! I couldn't pick which papers I wanted to use, so I went with the 9 3x4 Pocket Page so I could use all of them. 😊
I went through the Harvest 6x8 Patterned Paper pad and picked out my favorite designs and cut them with the 3x4 die from the Pocket Card Rectangles die set. I wanted to make a couple of my own designs, so I also cut two pink rectangles from the Harvest 6x8 Smooth Cardstock pad. On one of them I stenciled some Little Ghosts using Distress Oxide and added a little metallic water color splatter. The other has a silver embossed spider web design from the Slimline Spiderweb stamp set.

I die cut the word October (except an O) and a bunch of Halloween Bats from black glitter cardstock from the Mixed Metals Slimline paper pad and added them to the center of pink pumpkins. These are from an old Scrapbook.com SVG file (hopefully they bring it back) and I adhered the pumpkins down with some thin foam adhesive.
Some of the smaller touches are some heart pocket dies behind the jack-o-lanterns, Pops of Color throughout the layout and a few stamped images along the middle from the adorable Boo-tiful stamp set. I colored in the ghost using alcohol markers that matched the colors and theme of the layout!
I am excited to continue on in my scrapbook and will bring in more color, but I just love the pink, black and white look of this page!
