Valentines Day cards are one of the biggest times of year I get some personal sales on cards and one customer asked for a card using the Mole Lotta Love set! I needed to get it done quick as I want to make sure it gets in the mail, so I went with some of my favorite ways to make a card that do not take up too much time or effort.
I started with a solid color of pink cardstock and added Distress Oxide ink in purple and black to create the inky look. I splattered on water and white ink to give the background a complete Distress Oxide look without having to use too much ink. I then die cut it with one of my favorite A2 cover plate Dies from Heffy Doodle as it imprints a bunch of hearts all over the background!
Next I die cut some hearts from their nested set and I stamped my sentiment on the large, white heart die cut. I layered them onto the background using my wet glue and then popped up my stamped images with foam adhesive. They are stamped with alcohol marker friendly ink and onto marker friendly paper, then die cut with their coordinating dies.
For some final touches, I added some Pops of Color in black and I just love how it came together so quickly and yet looks like it was a lot more work than it was! You can see a quick video process of how I made the background and assembled the card down below.
