One thing I really like about coloring in my own stamped images is being able to customize them! I have a friend with darker skin complexion who is a big time fan of this batty superhero. So for his daughter's upcoming first birthday, I wanted to make a card that would be enjoyed by her parents as she is only going to be one. 😁
I started with die cutting all of the pieces from the My Favorite Things (MFT) Mini Slimline Outside the Box dies and the building dies from Kindred Stamps. The background sky was distressed with Distress Oxides to create a night sky and I splattered on some metallic white watercolor. I also added some green Distress Ink to the grass to darken up the grass since it's the nighttime. All of the cardstock and vellum are from my Your Paper Insider Box 2!

The sentiment was stamped on the front piece of cardstock that was die cut - it's from a different stamp set, but still a superhero set from The Sassy Club. I also made a back for the box card so I can write a message on it before gift it at the kiddo's birthday party. The batty superhero was stamped with Onyx Black Ink from The Sassy Club and colored in with my Ohuhu Art Markers. Since I have just the one image, I decided to fussy cut out the image, too.
