I was so excited to see Lawn Fawn's Year Thirteen stamp set and wanted to make some punny birthday cards as soon as I got the set. This month's sketch from Call Me Crafty Al's Show Us Your SheetLoad was a perfect way to use it. Almost everything I used is from Lawn Fawn and you can definitely make similar cards with your own supplies in case you don't have everything listed at the bottom of this blog post.

Watch my video tutorial below to see how I assemble the card following the sketch, used Distress Oxide inks to make my sentiment banner and how I colored the images from the Year Thirteen stamp set! I also talk about taking a break from a project when you just don't like how it's progressing... Sometimes just taking a step away (or going to bed for the night) helps you come back to the project with a fresh set of eyes and can tweak what you've started to be something you are now proud to make!
