I am so excited to be celebrating the new Pretty Pink Posh release today! There are so many adorable new products that are perfect for Spring - from Easter to Mother's Day. But what I am most excited about is the new Scallop Box Card! I just love these amazing box card dies and the scallop details are just so beautiful.
When I saw the new Flower Garden Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies, I just knew I wanted to make a Mother's Day box card. I started with die cutting the box pieces out of some Bright Pink Cardstock from my Your Paper Insider (YPI) Box 2 - one of the base pieces and two of the smaller pieces. I used one small piece with the base to create the box and there other small piece to be my "shelf" for my stamped images.

I stamped and colored the Flower Garden images using alcohol marker friendly black ink and my Ohuhu Art Markers. Using their Coordinating Dies, I cut out each of the images. For the sentiment, I used the new Mom Hot Foil Plate and gold foil, then die cut with the matching Mom Shadow Die. Finally, I wanted to create a colorful background for all of my scallop panels to go around the Box Card so I grabbed the EVO Synthetic Paper from my YPI Box 2 and some alcohol inks!
Using Pink Sherbet, Gumball, Fiesta and Purple Twilight, I created a beautiful and vibrant background. Before it completely dried, I grabbed a rose gold foil sheet and pressed it onto the ink where the still slightly sticky parts adhered the foil to the background for some extra shine! I then die cut out the scallop panels once it dried and glued the panels to the box, then added my sentiment and stamped images.
