I am in love with this card, haha! Sometimes I make something that just surprises myself and I think this card turned out the cutest. I used lots of products on this card, but if you replicate this, remember to just use what you have! But if you do want to purchase anything, please consider using my links below.
For my project today, I have a video because there are a lot of steps in making this box card, so I wanted to make sure anyone could follow along. Before I start recording, I did all of my stamping, alcohol marker coloring and die cutting to save some time in the video. If there are any critters you'd like to see on a future coloring video, let me know in the comments!
In the video, I start with stenciling my pond pieces, then adding splatter to just about everything! The pond, grass, tree and sky pieces have a mix of splatter that I think really add some fun to the card. I opted out of ink blending or using alcohol markers to add more dimension, so the splatter I think really steps up the card more my style.
Then I walk you through how to assemble the box card and adding in all of my cute images, including how to add the little fly with acetate to make it even more 3D! I hope you enjoy today's video and box card. Let me know what scenes you'd like to see next so I can bring you more inspiration.
