Most of Abigail's lunch notes for March will probably be towards the end of the month as I am a bit behind on making them for her... Luckily I have most of my images for the rest of the school year are stamped, cut out and mostly colored. For these Space Heroes from Kindred Stamps, I wanted to make a space galaxy background for them!
You can see in my short video below, I start with a large piece of watercolor cardstock and add different colors of Color Bursts. I sprayed some water and used my heat tool to move the color around. I dabbed up the excess water with a paper towel and again, used my heat tool to dry the paper completely. To make four notes, I used a circle die on my favorite parts of the background. Then I stenciled stars and moons with Platinum Stencil Paste and set them aside to dry.
Once the backgrounds were dry, I added white circles to the back so I can write a note and popped up the characters from the set with foam adhesive. I hope she likes them this month! I think the backgrounds turned out really cool.
