I know, it's pretty wild that I'm posting a fall themed card and we just started April. Well, I guess I do post something Halloween-ish once a month as well as Christmas... But Craft Roulette had me reaching for my Harvest Smooth Cardstock and Patterned Paper Pads with this past Friday's episode! When I saw the wheel land on "Cornucopia Colors" as a parameter this week, I was totally thrown off. I dug through my paper from Scrapbook.com and pulled out my Harvest Pads and knew it was perfect for making a project for this week.
I made an easel card and added some paper from my pads using my Nested A2 Rectangles to create nice and even borders. I also die cut florals from the same paper pads as well as white cardstock from the Autumn Leaves Die Set to layer together for my card. One of them was used to create a stopper on the inside of my card to create the easel, too. I die cut my sentiment - three layers of the pink cardstock to really make it pop off the card. The tag was die cut from the same set as my cupcake stamps, but I added a strip of paper to cover the "Gratitude" embossed word.
To make my cupcake, I did lots of embossing! I started with the cake stand and embossed it in gold, then added the cupcake with a brown ink and embossed it in clear, and finally the frosting embossed in rose gold! I love the layer of the three colors and looked so cute popped up on the tag. While my card has quite a bit of pink, I think I was able to achieve all four parameters with this card: easel card, cornucopia colors, something the rhymes with -ake (cupcake, the word "make"), and gold. Let me know in the comments how you think I did with the parameters!
