I have another card inspired by Craft Roulette that turned out exactly how I imagined and I am just so happy with it! The parameters were a lot of fun this week: peek-a-boo card; first grader colors; an element of rain; and include a distressed edge. I dug through my Kindred Stamps products and knew I wanted to use the Journey Home stamp set and use a rainbow for the rain element! Plus, using these rainbow colors remind me of a first grader.
First I grabbed some red metallic cardstock from my Your Paper Insider Box 2 and trimmed it to fit an A2 card. Normally I like to cut out a middle part to save paper since I was doing layering, but I filmed a Reels/TikTok video so I just went for easy. I hot foiled with red foil onto white cardstock with the Warp Speed Hot Foil Plate and trimmed it down with my Tim Holtz Deckle Trimmer to create distressed edges.
My circles are layered together with foam adhesive - blue on the back and a yellow brick frame from the 8-Bit Game Paper Pack. I glued that down to the center, but up a little onto the foiled background that way I had room for my sentiment strip. The sentiment was embossed with red Park Magic glitter embossing powder and popped up with foam adhesive as well.
The Stitched Rainbow was die cut and I used Distress Ink with Paper Pouncers to color each stripe. I glued it down inside the circles and then had it "peek-a-boo" out of the circle and off the edge of the card. Check out my video down below to get the details of how I adhered the rainbow to the card! Next I added a castle piece that was die cut from green glitter cardstocks with foam adhesive, too.
Lastly, I added my stamped fandom characters that I colored in with alcohol markers! I think this card turned out so cute and I love all of the shine and brightness of the card. How do you think I did with the parameters this week for Craft Roulette? Do you think I nailed it?
