I'm a little late to the bandwagon with these adorable record themed products from Concord & 9th. I actually debated a little bit to share this video as I struggled a bit with thinking of ways to decorate the record sleeves, but I was just having some fun and trying out the dies and stamps... Which I think it's important to show just playing around with supplies so you can learn tips, tricks and maybe what not to do.
Even though I struggled, I really loved how my record crate turned out! I used some shimmery cardstock from the Your Paper Insider Box 3 and I should have just leaned in to the jewel tone colors. But I have a lot of scraps of cardstock from my YPI boxes so I wanted to create a colorful crate of records... However when I think I just have too many colors that I felt like my crate of records felt... like a mess. Which is why I didn't think I would publish this video.
But I told myself that it's totally fine to just create for fun without thinking too hard sometimes! So, while this video is more about a learning process for myself, I hope you'll still find some inspiration and maybe some entertainment. Let me know in the comments if you have these products and what your go to color scheme is for them so I can make more cohesive gift boxes next time!
