My orange and yellow Ohuhu Art Markers got a good workout for this card! I just love this sweet, citrus bird and my favorite pineapple treat at the most magical place on earth. I'm using The Sassy Club products for this card and I have a simple, short video of how my card came together. But I'll walk you through it here, too!
I used the green pattern from the Tiny World 6x6 Paper Pad and hot foiled the Mouse Gold Foil Plate with Opal Hot Foil and used a nested A2 rectangle die to create my background. I stamped and colored my images with the Sassy Club Ink and my Ohuhu Art Honolulu B Markers; I masked my bird's leaves and head so I could the little ear hat.
These images were fussy cut out and I played around with the arrangement to know that I wanted to add a sentiment on a banner under the images. I went with a wavy banner and embossed the "too cute to eat!" sentiment with white embossing powder. The sentiment and images were added with foam adhesive to the card which an A2 card base with the background glued down with a tape runner.
The final touches are some Pops of Color in Orange Squeeze which is an adequate color name for this card, am I right? I just love how this sweet scene turned out and I'm about to grab a treat for myself in the freezer now... It's not this pineapple treat, but it's a popsicle and that's close enough until I'm back at Walt Disney World this summer!
