I have been a busy bee this week as there have just been so many amazing releases this week! Today is also a release day for Spellbinders and I was gifted a few products from the new Bibi's Snowflakes Collection to create with for inspiration. I used two of these new products for this card to also help with making my project for this past Friday's episode of Craft Roulette!
For this card, I started with making my 4-1/4" square card base and trimmed a piece of Craft Roulette Color #TeamPurple cardstock to be slightly smaller and added Villainous Potion Distress ink to the edges and splattered on some metallic ink to create a design inspired by a night sky. While it was drying, I stenciled on a snowflake ornament with different purple Distress Inks onto a light grey cardstock trimmed to 3-1/4" square.
I wanted to include some stencil paste, so the top of my ornament has some Silver Lining Lunar Paste as well. As that layer needed to dry as well, I hot foiled snowflakes and my sentiment with silver foil and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I also trimmed a piece of light grey cardstock to go around my sentiment strip so it would match the look of my card.
When everything was dry, I adhered the purple cardstock to my card base, then popped up the grey square after adding a bottom border of snowflakes with liquid adhesive. I overlapped a few of the snowflakes on top of the grey cardstock as well so it gives it a fun look. The sentiment was then adhered down and I used some Silver Glitter Pops of Color to add a few pops on the card. I hope you enjoy this inspiration and be sure to check out the new release here!
