Have you jumped back on the rub-ons train? I have not been using them, but these Retro Garden florals were just stunning and calling to me to use them! So I grabbed some dies, colorful paper and a floral stencil to create a thank you card. You can follow along in my video down below, but I started with stenciling my background with Distress Inks.
I die cut my butterflies as well as my Thanks sentiment out of yellow and pinks from the Vacation paper pad. I used the same Distress Inks to ink the die cut pieces as well as using a white gel pen to add highlights. Before assembling the card together, I chose two flower images from the Retro Garden Rub-Ons and added them to my stenciled background. I added some final touches of White Gloss Pops of Color (although my butterflies ended up looking a but chonky) to finish it off!
What do you think about these colors?! I just love the way this card turned out, especially since I started it with a different layout in mind. Let me know what you think about rub-ons in the comments!
