Can you believe it's October?! It's crazy how fast this year is going by and it's my last month of sharing Whimsy Stamps Halloween projects. I have a mix of newer and older products for this slimline card that ended up being super purple, super shiny and super fun! I started with die cutting all of my pieces from different Whimsy Stamps dies with Your Paper Insider cardstock from Box 4.
Using Distress Inks and Mica Sprays, I colored my moon and cliff die cut pieces as well as the background of my slimline shaker card. I layered my images with the Whimsy Stamps Slimline Waves Die and attached acetate to the back side.
Since I'm using flat confetti, I used some thinner foam adhesive to create my shaker sections and adhered it to the background piece. My slimline background was adhered to my card base that measures 3.5x8.5" when folded. Finally, I wanted to add a sentiment so I stamped "Let's Get Spooky" with purple ink on vellum from the same YPI Box 4 and embossed it in clear powder. I fussy cut around the sentiment and glued it to the ghost in the lower left corner.
I really love how purple and shiny this card turned out! Let me know what you think of this glittery card and if you like making shaker slimline cards.
