I am having some fandom fun on my mini slimline shaker card today! I stamped all of my images out and colored them in with my Ohuhu Art Honolulu Markers, then fussy cut each of them out as one of the Craft Roulette parameters this week is to include something hand cut. Next I die cut my background out of kraft cardstock and stamped the island image with brown ink and distress the edges along with some splatter.
After the background dried, I embossed the magical pixie dust in gold and that will finish my background of the shaker. I then die cut the scalloped frame out of gold glitter cardstock and adhered a piece of acetate to the open window. I used a few different sequins and shaker bits from my stash to make a custom mix of blue, gold and pirate embellishments (pirate is for Talk Like a Pirate Day that was on September 19th).

I adhered the shaker together and then attached it to my slimline card base that measures 3.5x6.5" when scored and folded. Next I embossed my sentiment also in gold on a banner and adhered it to the bottom of the card, then layered all of my characters on - starting with my flying girl with a ribbon in her hair, all the way to the forever boy and the girl's two brothers. I also lined up my fairy up so she would be at the top of the embossed pixie dust swirl!
My colors are bright and cheery, just like you would think to find a circus, but I love the touches of deep blue and gold sequins to be like ocean and match my pixie dust. I hope you enjoy today's card and I'd love to see how you played along with Craft Roulette this week!
