We love a deal and the latest Livestream Deal from Scrapbook.com is here and it is SWEET. The Gingerbread Bundle is a wonderful deal and it comes with the Sweet Christmas Stamp Set, Gingerbread Decorative Die Set and Gingerbread A2 Patterned Paper Pad! Perfect for adorable holiday cards or maybe for decorating boxes and tags for the handmade goodies you're giving out this season.
My card today is using the bundle and inspired by the latest Show Us Your SheetLoad sketch from Call Me Crafty Al and also for last Friday's episode of Craft Roulette. I have a fun fold card, colors are inspired by the plants you would find in an aquarium, we always decorate for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving in November and there is a cluster of three cookies on my card!
I started with cutting my card base to 4-1/4x11" and scored along the long side at 3-5/8" and 9-1/8" (or 1-7/8" if you flip the paper over). I trimmed a panel of red paper from the paper pad to 4x3-3/8" and a panel of green cookie paper to 4x1-5/8". The green panel was adhered to the smaller scored panel and I added some stenciling with brown ink and Lunar paste to the red panel. I also cut three strips of the brown cookie patterned paper to 1/2", glued them to the red panel and trimmed off the access before gluing it to the card base.
My sentiment is embossed in white on a green paper from the paper pad that was cut with one of my nested circles. I cut the next largest size out of vellum and adhered them together. To attach the circle to the card base, I only added foam squares behind half of the circle so it would attach to the green cookie paper but not fully close the card. My images were stamped and colored, then I used my coordinating dies (coming soon!) to cut them out. I added them to the left side with my 3mm foam adhesive roll to make sure they slightly overlap the circle to keep the card closed.
I hope you enjoyed this sweet inspiration today! Make sure to snag the deal before it sells out and let me know what you plan to use the bundle for in the comments. Happy shopping!
