I know I've been posting, but this card is my first card I have made in a week! I had been traveling for pleasure for the first three days, then for work the other four days... I've missed my craft room! I had to pick up my craft room just a bit today (it was where I just threw everything that needed to be put away since we had house sitters) but luckily making something quick was easy as it was inspired by Craft Roulette and I used the latest Livestream Bundle from Scrapbook.com.
My Winter Wishes card is going to be a perfect New Years Day card which is usually what I send to family as a thank you card for our holiday gifts. I thought the pretty patterns and colors reminded me a vintage, rustic feel that you would see at a roadside market. The pattern also looks like items you would find in your yard - like branches and pinecones. Finally, I have my own version of confetti with the patterned paper heart, Pops of Color and snowflake die cuts.
I started with picking out my background papers and I flicked on some Deep Blue Glitter from my Brush Marker before trimming it down to 4x5.25". This was adhered to a grey background onto a side folding A2 card base. I then die cut my snowflakes, hearts and sentiment and layered the scallop vellum behind the confetti heart as well as my two layered sentiment together. I added the heart to the card base with foam squares and added my sentiment with the 1mm foam tape to the heart and a foam square with a second layer of 1mm foam tape to the sentiment where it attached to the card base.
My fox is stamped and colored with alcohol markers; there is a die set for this stamp but I don't have it yet so he is fussy cut out for this card. I popped him up on the heart with foam adhesive, added my snowflakes and Pops of Color. I used a clear glimmer brush to add shine to my snowflake die cuts and the Tan Glitter Brush Marker to my brown die cut sentiment. I hope you snag this Livestream Deal before it's gone! Such a beautiful paper pack and I cannot wait to make another card with a die cut polar bear.
