I'm so excited for this new release from Kindred Stamps! There is an adorable stamp set called Troopers and my daughter and I are featured in the set! I was so excited to stamp and color Abi and myself that I stamped the three images from the set and colored them in (plus one extra "Abi") with my OLO markers. I fussy cut the images out and started working on card backgrounds.
With the Leader sentiment, I knew I wanted to make a thank you card. I cut strips of colored cardstock that represent each level of the girl program that inspired this tamp set - blue, brown, purple, red, orange and yellow. I layered them onto a piece of double sided adhesive sheet and ran it through my die cutting machine with my Card Basic rectangle die. I peeled off the other side of the adhesive sheet and layered it onto a piece of green cardstock which was adhered to my card base. I popped up "Thank You" I die cut out of white cardstock along with my images and stamped my sentiment on the inside of the card.
For the second card, of course we had to bring out the cookie stencil! I wanted to make cookies that looked like the classic, minty cookie so I used a tone on tone look for my cookies on white cardstock. I die cut out my background with the Card Basic rectangle die and adhered it to a piece of dark green cardstock on my card base. I also cut out the dashed circle and popped that up onto my card base. I added my other two girls with foam adhesive as well as my sentiment in white embossing powder on brown cardstock. I stamped the sentiment on the inside to finish it off!
Make sure to check out all of the products dropped today in the new release! I'm so excited to see the thank you cards Abi will be making with these stamps in the future!
