I did some experimenting with the BetterPress Plate of the Month for April 2024 and wanted to mix hot foiling and pressing with the set. I also used the latest Craft Roulette parameters to inspire my card. I started with foiling the thimble, scissors and bobbin with Glimmer Hot Foil and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I then pressed the thread with a green interference ink onto the bobbin as well as my sentiment with the same ink on a black oval that was cut from the Stitching Die of the Month.

To add a blackboard look to my oval, I splattered it with white watercolor ink. I then made a shaker card panel with sequins and added the panel to my card base. My oval and images were added to the front of my shaker card and I didn't like the white border of the card so I added black ink. I wish now looking at my blue cardstock on the back of the shaker, I had some ink blending, but it's still fun and funky! I think this press set is really pretty and detailed and it was fun to use the two different layers of the bobbin.
