Nothing says feeling BLUE like these fandom gnome-like characters! I am using stamps from The Sassy Club to make my card for Craft Roulette this week. I started with stamping and coloring all of images and while there are coordinating dies, I do not have them so I used my Scan N Cut to cut out the images. I am not a fan of gate fold cards, but I did my best to create this fun fold per the parameters this last Friday.
I have my card base and cut the front of the card 1" from the bottom. I adhered a piece of blue cardstock to the 3-1/2" panel and two grassy strips to the bottom of the top panel and on the 1" panel. I adhered down the mushroom house, flowers and mushrooms to the top panel of the front of the card as well as couple images on the inside of the card. Next, I popped up my blue characters to the 1" bottom panel so they overlap and create two parts of the scene.
To finish off the card, I stamped my sentiments - the first part is on a piece of white cardstock that I fussy cut around and popped up onto the front of the card. The second part of the sentiment I stamped on the inside of the card with the images I added. So let's go over the parameters... I have a gate fold card, color inspired by gnomes, the gnomes were featured in a movie and my building blocks are the mushrooms all over the card since the house is built out a mushroom!
