Scrapbook.com is celebrating with Christmas in July with discounts on holiday themed products and the freebie right now is this adorable Ornament Tree Die! It actually has 2 dies - there is a backing to the detail die that I used on my card, but I liked showing the paper I had on my card base through the tree. I used lots of fun products on this card and it is inspired by the July 2024 SheetLoad of Cards sketch from Call Me Crafty Al.
I started with cutting my cardstock, patterned and glitter paper following the sketch - my circle is a 3" die from the Nested Circles set. I added rub-on's onto the circle and adhered the layers together except for the 5x7 panel of Barely Peach cardstock. They are all glued down with tape runner. I then used Solar Paste to add the Pepper Snowflakes to my peach cardstock and set it aside to dry.
While waiting, I die cut my Ornament Tree out of peach and gold glitter cardstock and layered them together just a little offset so the peach peeks out behind the gold. My sentiment is embossed with Rose Gold Embossing Powder from the Hello Winter stamp set and I used the coordinating dies to cut it out. I adhered my tree with liquid adhesive and my sentiment with foam adhesive to the panel.
Once my background was dry, I adhered it to my 5x7 card base and popped up the plaid panel to finish my card assembly. For some final touches, I used Pops of Color to add just a bit more gold glitter around the card. I hope you have fun with the sales and inspiration this month from Scrapbook.com for Christmas in July! Let me know what you think of this color scheme in the comments - I'm loving the dark teal, peach and gold.
