Ooh La La Shaped Card with The Sassy Club

Sunday, September 1, 2024

It's insane that we're in September! I cannot believe that we're heading into the Autumn months and best time of year with all of the holidays. Something that I'd like to start with this new month is Sassy Sunday! I have lots of amazing products from The Sassy Club and making fandom cards is my favorite thing to do... So my hope is to bring you some Fandom Fun on Sundays with The Sassy Club!

For the first Sassy Sunday, I'm featuring the Ooh La La stamp set with these two iconic cartoon characters. I stamped and colored them in with OLO markers, then fussy cut them out. I embossed the sentiment in white on black cardstock and fussy cut around it, too. I used some oval dies in my stash to cut vellum to adhere my characters and my sentiment is popped up with 1mm foam adhesive.

I used a larger oval die to cut my card base to make a shaped card, as well as a white piece of cardstock. Using blue and purple inks, I stamped the Eiffel Tower and hearts in a random pattern. Next I made my "XO" die cuts and you can follow along in my short video down below (or a little less fast over on Instagram) of how I added Distress Oxides, splatter and adhered to them to the background.

The vellum oval was popped up with 2mm foam adhesive to the center of the background and this was added to my shaped card base. I hope you like my card and that you're excited to see more Sassy Sundays! My card is also going to be submitted for this past Friday's episode of Craft Roulette.
