Happy Sassy Saturday! I was not too sure what I was going to do when last night's episode of Craft Roulette said to make a joy fold card... But I think my take on the fold turned out so cute! I made my white card base out of A2 but cut the front flap of the card in half. Then I made a smaller card out of vellum but added white cardstock on the the inside and patterned paper to decorate the "front" of the card - both the white and vellum. In order to keep the card closed, I used some baker's twine I had in my stash on the left side of the card.
I stamped my sentiment on the inside and fussy cut around "hello baby" for the front of the card. I also stamped my adorable little fandom kangaroo family and colored them with olo markers. After fussy cutting them out, I also cut out some white flower dies to the front of the card with sequins in the middle. I popped up the kangaroos and sentiment to the front of the card. The colors are so pretty and I like having bold and soft colors on the card.
Let me know what you think of my card for Craft Roulette and if you're going to make anything to celebrate Sassy Saturday, too! hehe!
