Up House Inspired Birthday Card with Scrapbook.com

Wednesday, January 22, 2025

Hi, friends! I’ve got a fun project to share that started as a simple idea and turned into a delightful fandom-inspired creation. Using some exclusive products from Scrapbook.com, I designed an "Up"-themed birthday card that’s colorful, whimsical, and full of charm. I didn’t set out to make a fandom card, but as I looked through my supplies, the idea of the iconic floating house popped into my head, and I just had to roll with it! From the pastel glossy cardstock to the ombre paper pad, every detail came together to create something playful and unique.

I used the Mini Christmas Village die set to craft the house, cutting it from multiple pastel shades to layer and create a patchwork look. To add texture, I paired the Brick A2 Cover Plate with that gorgeous ombre rainbow paper for the background. The balloons, stamped and die-cut from the Whale Hello set, tied the theme together, while little stitched clouds added depth to the scene. I had fun experimenting with my scissors and paper cutter to make everything fit just right—wonky and uneven was the goal for this design! To finish, I stamped a wavy sentiment that says, “Have an awesome birthday,” and added some pops of sparkle for a touch of shine.
