Little Chicken Nugget Baby Card with Trinity Stamps

Creating a fun and playful card is always a joy, especially when working with adorable die cuts! For today’s project, I used the Trinity Stamps Petite Prehistoric Pals Die Set to craft a quirky dinosaur-themed card with lots of texture and dimension. The idea? Turning dinosaurs into chicken nuggets! I die-cut the dinos from Lawn Fawn No. 2 Pencil Cardstock, then used Ohuhu Alcohol Art Markers to add spots and shading for a crispy, golden-brown look. To enhance the effect, I blended Ranger Distress Inks in Rusty Hinge and Wild Honey around the edges and added Vintage Photo ink splatter to mimic that delicious fried texture. For the sentiment, I die-cut "Little Nugget" from the Graham Cracker Alphabet Die Set using red cardstock from the Scrapbook.com Christmas Paper Pad, adhering the letters to a crisp white panel cut with the Emergency Card Essentials Die Set #2.

To pull the design together, I arranged the dinosaur nuggets around the sentiment panel, trimming the edges for a clean finish. The "Congratulations" sentiment, from the A Sentiment For (Almost) Everything Stamp Set, was stamped in Pinecone VersaFine Clair Ink on red cardstock, then popped up for added dimension. Everything was layered onto a Lawn Fawn Gotta Have Gingham background, resembling a classic fast-food basket liner. Mounted on an A2 card base, this card is a hilarious and charming way to celebrate a little one’s milestone—or just bring a smile to a dino-loving friend’s face. Who knew prehistoric pals could be so tasty?
