Bring on the Sprinkles Gatefold Card with The Sassy Club

Sunday, March 23, 2025

Happy Sassy Sunday, everyone! Today, I'm sharing a gatefold card that's bursting with fun, featuring the fabulous stamps and stencils from The Sassy Club. If you're looking for stamps and stencils that make you giggle and add a touch of whimsy to your projects, The Sassy Club is where it's at! This card also hits all the marks for Craft Roulette Episode 259, which added an extra layer of creative challenge! For this card, I started with an 8-1/2 x 5-1/2" piece of white cardstock, scoring at 2-1/8" on each side to create a gatefold. Then, I dove into the March 2025 Call Me Crafty Al's SheetLoad sketch, flipping a few elements to perfectly fit my vision. I stenciled the animal cracker design with Picket Fence Distress Ink and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide onto pastel pink cardstock, sealing it with a sprinkle of Iridescent Glitter Dust for that extra sparkle. I matted these stenciled pieces with a vibrant dark pink cardstock, adhering them strategically to the gatefold panels.

Next, the star of the show: The Sassy Club's Animal Crackers stamp set! I stamped the adorable giraffe in Lawn Fawn's Plastic Flamingo ink and added white polka dots with clear embossing ink and ultra-fine white embossing powder. After a bit of fussy cutting, I stamped the sassy sentiment, "bring on the sprinkles and wrinkles," onto dark pink cardstock, also embossing it in white. I popped up both the giraffe and the sentiment on the left gatefold panel, adding a sprinkle of Pink & Main's Purple Orchid confetti, all while keeping the SheetLoad sketch in mind. To tie it all together, I added purple sprinkle spots to the animal crackers with a paint marker. Inside, I stamped "calling all party animals" in Monarch Versafine Clair ink, finishing off this playful creation. Get ready to unleash your creativity and add a dash of sass to your card making with The Sassy Club, and tackle those Craft Roulette challenges with style!
